Editorial Meeting – TRACHMED Book Project

On 20 November 2025, an editorial meeting titled “A Critical Dialogue about Publishing” was held at Marmara University within the framework of the EU-funded TRACHMED Project.

The meeting was organized in preparation for the forthcoming academic volume to be published under the project. It brought together Assoc. Prof. Deniz Genç and Prof. Ronaldo Munck, and was hosted by TRACHMED Project Coordinator Prof. Erhan Doğan.

During the session, participants engaged in an in-depth discussion on the conceptual framework, chapter structure, editorial process, and publication strategy of the volume. The book will address the project’s core theme:
“Migration, Climate Change and the Energy Transition in the Mediterranean: Transnational Challenges and Opportunities.”

The meeting marked an important step in consolidating the intellectual direction of the publication and strengthening academic collaboration within the consortium. The planned volume aims to contribute to scholarly and policy debates by offering critical perspectives and solution-oriented approaches to cross-border challenges in the Mediterranean basin.
