Academic Visit to Algiers 2 University – Strengthening Scientific Cooperation

On 12–13 November 2025, within the framework of the EU-funded TRACHMED Project, a delegation from Marmara University, led by Project Coordinator Prof. Erhan Doğan, conducted an academic visit to Algiers 2 University.

 

The visit aimed to strengthen institutional and scientific cooperation between the two universities. Meetings focused on enhancing academic collaboration, exploring joint research opportunities, and developing future project partnerships supported by European Union funding schemes.

 

Discussions also addressed potential areas of cooperation aligned with TRACHMED’s thematic priorities, including migration, climate change, and regional challenges in the Mediterranean context.

 

This academic visit marked an important step toward deepening long-term collaboration, fostering transnational knowledge exchange, and building sustainable research partnerships between the two institutions.
